We take the LCM(2,3,5,6) = 30

Instead of checking a number to be divisible by all the 4 given numbers ,we take their LCM so that we have to check for only 1 number  i.e 30

Now divide 2497 by 30 , we get the remainder as 7 which means that 30 - 7 = 23 should be added to 2497 to make it divisible completely by 30

2497 + 23 = 2520 will be completely divisible by 30 and hence by 2,3,5 and 6

We could have subtracted 7 from 2497 to make it divisible by 30 , but remember its given in the question that find the least number "added" . So we added the number 23.
