(-3)^m+1*(-3)^5=(-3)^7

we know that
a^m*a^n=a^m+n

(-3)^m+1+5=(-3)^7

(-3)^m+6=(-3)^7

as the bases are same both sides i.e (-3)
hence,
m+6=7
m=7-6
m=1

Therefore value of m is 1
