  2x = 11 – 3y                   … (3)

Plug this value in equation second we get

                       2x – 4y    = –  24                         … (2)

11- 3y – 4y = -  24  

                                        7 y= - 24  – 11

-7y  = - 35

y  =  - 35 / - 7

y  = 5

Plug this value in equation (3) we get

2x   = 11 – 3* 5

2x   = 11- 15

2x   = - 4

Divide by 2 we get

x  = - 2

Plug the value of x and y in equation

y  =mx + 3.

5     = -2m +3

2m  = 3 – 5

m    =  - 2 / 2

m    =  - 1
