The magnitude of the charge will be 0.22 nC

Explanation:

If an isolated charge is placed in a space it generates electric field. That electric field cause electric potential which is given by following formula:

V = K q/r^2    …………. (i)

It is given that:

V = 50

r = 20cm = 0.2m

K = 9 × 10^9 Nm^2 C^-2

Putting these values in equation (i) we get,

q = 0.22 nC
