Methane (CH4) has a molar mass of 16g/mol. So, 32g of methane will be 2 moles of it. Know that, hydrogen has a molar mass of around 1g/mol. In methane, there are four hydrogen atoms, so the total mass of hydrogen is 4g/molin methane, which is 14 of the mass of methane.

So, in 32g of methane, there will be

32g⋅14=8g of hydrogen

Molar mass of CH4 (methane) is 16g

16g of methane contains 4moles of H atoms.
So, 32g of methane will contain 8 moles of H atoms.
8moles = 8×NA atoms of H

Molar mass of H2O is 18g

2moles of H is present in 18g of H2O

So 8 moles of H will be present in (18 × 4=) 72g of H2O.

Therefore, 72g of H2O will contain same number of H atoms as present in 32g of CH4.
