Mode= 3Median - 2Mean

Given

Mode = 50.5

Median= 45.5

From formula , 2Mean= 3 Median- Mode

Mean= (3Median- mode)/2

        = (3*45.5 - 50.5)/2

         =86/2

        =43

Mean= 43

Given :

Mode = 50.5

Median = 45.5

To Find:

Mean of data

Solution:

Mode of the data = 50.5

Median of the data = 45.5

Formula:

3 Median – 2 Mean = Mode

Substitute the values in the formula:

3(45.5)-2 Mean = 50.5

3(45.5)-50.5=2 Mean

\frac{3(45.5)-50.5}{2}=Mean

43=Mean

Hence the mean of data is 43
