Finding mean:

Mean = Total no. of observations / no. of observations

Mean = 38 + 33 + 35 + 40 + 37 + 33 / 6

Mean = 216 / 6

Mean = 36

Finding median:

First, we have to arrange all the numbers in ascending order:

33, 33, 35, 37, 38, 40

(N) is even = n / 2 , (N) is odd = n+1 / 2

N = (6/2) th observation

N = 3rd and 4th observation/2

N = 35 + 37 / 2

N = 72 / 2

N = 36

Finding mode:

Mode is 33.

Because 33 is repeat many times

Finding range:

Formula to find range:

Range = Highest no. - Lowest no.

Range = 40 - 33

Range = 7

Hence mean is 36, median is 36 mode is 33 and range is 7.

Hope it's help you!
