mean is
$\frac{sum \: of \: all \: frequenies}{total \: number \: of \: frequencies}$
so sum of all frequencies
5+17+11+2+10+2+7+9+10+11=84
Total number = 10
Mean=
$\huge \frac{84}{10} = 8.4$
