We all know that 1 mole of any substance contains Avogadro number (6x 10^23) of atoms.

So 1 mole of Magnesium contains 6x10^23 atoms of Mg

Number of moles of Mg =

given weight/atomic weight

Number of moles of Mg = 6/24 = 0.25

1 moles of Mg has 6x10^23 atoms

So,

0.25 moles of Mg has 1.5x10^23 atoms

Thus, 6 grams of Magnesium contains 1.5x10^23 atoms of Mg.

Hope it helps!!
