To Find LCM of 72, 64 and 12,

Firstly, We have to find Prime Factorisation of 72, 64 and 12.

Prime Factorisation of 72 :

\begin{array}{r|l} 2 & 72 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 36 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 18 \\ \cline{1-2} 3 & 9 \\ \cline{1-2} 3 & 3 \\ \cline{1-2} & 1 \end{array}

Prime Factorisation of 64 :

\begin{array}{r|l} 2 & 64 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 32 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 16 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 8 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 4 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 2 \\ \cline{1-2} & 1 \end{array}

Prime Factorisation of 12 :

\begin{array}{r|l} 2 & 12 \\ \cline{1-2} 2 & 6 \\ \cline{1-2} 3 & 3 \\ \cline{1-2} & 1 \end{array}

72 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3

64 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

LCM = 2 × 2 = 4

LCM of 72, 64 and 12 is 4.
