Change to a common denominator.
1/5and1/4 can be changed to 4/20and5/20
However, the only values between 4 and 5 are fractions.
for example: 4.5/20=9/40
This would require further simplifying.
Use a different common denominator: 8/40and10/40
9/40is between them.
Similarly for any common denominator with a value higher than 40:
12/60and15/60 or 16/80and20/80
