in 1804 Napoleon Bonaparte crowned himself the emperor of france.napolean saw his role as moderniser of europe.he introduced many laws as the protection of private property and a uniform system of weights.he defeated prussia,rissia and conquered most of the europe.intially many saw Napoleon as liberator who would bring freedom for the people. he was finally defeated in Waterloo in 1815.he was prisoned in a jail.after 4-5 years he died by cancer.but some people said that he died due to poison.
