» used for making coins, statues, etc.
» used for making boilers.

★ Aluminium
( found in Kerala, uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh).

» used for making cooking vessels.
» Transmission wires and cables.
» Aluminium foils are used for wrapping chocolates, medicines, foodstuffs, etc.
» mixed with certain metals, it is used in the construction of aircraft.

★ Iron
(found in jharkhand, odisha, chattisgarh and Karnataka ).

» pipes, sinks, storage tanks , railings are made of cast iron ( an impure form of iron ).
» used in manufacturing nails, gates, nuts and bolts, chains, wire net for fencing etc.
» stainless steel is used for making utensils , cutlery, surgical instruments of stainless steel.

★ Gold and silver
( gold found in Karnataka, and silver Rajasthan, jharkhand, and Karnataka).

» They are commonly used for making jewelleries and ornaments.

★ Zinc
( found in Zawar and Angucha mines in Udaipur and Bhilwara districts of Rajasthan).

» Zinc is used for galvanising iron particles to prevent and protect them from rusting.

★ Mercury

» used in thermometer.

★ Tungsten
( found in Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka).

» Used in bulbs of the filament .

★ Magnesium
( Found in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka ).

» used for making electronic parts such as mobile phones, laptop and tablet computers, cameras, and other electronic components.
