So, in the last 10 years only 1 state have been created i.e. 29th state of India Telangana. However, earlier, in the year 2000, three states were created. i.e. 26th, 27th and 28th states namely Chhattisgarh 1st November 2000, Uttarakhand 10th November 2000, and Jharkhand 15th November 2000, respectively. And telangana was formed on 2nd June 2014.
