These plants are located here because of the following reasons :- 

1. Availability of raw materials - Availability of raw materials is needed to run these plants , as coal is needed in very huge amount.

2. Labourers - One main reason is that availability of skilled and unskilled labours.Without both of them a  plant cannot be run . 

3.Transportation Facility - Goods are needed to be delivered quickly as they are equally important to run these plants.
