Inert gases are considered to be most stable and so they are un-reactive. They are used in many industrial purposes:-
• Helium – It is the lightest of inert gases and so it is used in hot air balloons like weather balloons, airships and other decorative balloons.
• Neon- It is widely used in advertising sign boards in the form of neon glow signs. It is also used for coating inner layer of tube lights.
• Argon – This is widely used in incandescent light bulbs and titanium production. It is also used for coating inner layer of bulbs.
• Krypton – It is widely used in semiconductor manufacturing and other circuit boards.
