The printed post card will now cost Rs 1.50. The price of an inland letter will go up from 75 paise to Re 1 while the price of envelopes has been doubled from Re 1 to Rs 2. The fee for registration of letters will also increase to Rs 10 from Rs 8. However, the postage charges for registered newspapers have been spared.
