where, E = energy of photon

h = Planck's constant =

= 6.63×10^-34 Js

c = speed of light

= 3×10^8 m/s

and lambda = wavelength

so,,

E = [6.63×10^-34 Js×3×10^8 m/s]/5500×10^-10m

= [0.36×10^-26]/10^-8

= 0.36×10^-18

= 3.6×10^-19 J
