The earth spins around its axis every twenty four hours. Because of the gravitational pull we never feel the earth's rotation or movement.

The earth revolves at the speed of 1675 kilometres per hour of 465 meters per second that’s why we can't feel the movement because it is so rapid.

The circumference of the earth is 40,075 kilometre and as per mathematical calculations to finish a rotation it will take 23.93 hours hence proved that it takes a day to finish a rotation around its axis.
