The earth spins around its axis once every twenty four hours and the sun completes a revolution in twenty four hours.

The sun covers the longitudinal lines which are 360 running along the path vertically.

The sun is positioned at 360 degree at 24 hours, 15 degrees at one hour and 1 degree every four minutes.

So the greenwich meridian time would be 240 minutes which is 8 AM then at 30 degrees longitude the time is bound to be 6 AM.
