The aims and objectives of nationalist congress party were involvement of more educated members in the government of India.
They wanted to promote peaceful and constitutional methods for politics.
They believed that the British would give be fair and just to them and also would respond to their petitions and grant them justice.
However in 1905 the british government dint meet their demands and that led to the rise of extremism in congress.
They demanded freedom of speech, more indians employed in higher administrative posts and eradication of poverty.
