Find p(0),p(1)and p(2) in the given polynomial. p(t)=t⁴-t³+t²+6​

SOLUTION

p(t) = t^{4} - t^{3} + t^{2} + 6

(1)  p(0) = (0)^{4} - (0)^{3} +(0)^{2} + 6

⇒ p(0) = 0 - 0 + 0 + 6

p(0) = 6

(2) p(1) = (1)^{4} - (1)^{3} + (1)^{2} + 6\\

⇒  p(1) = 1 - 1 + 1 + 6

⇒  p(1) = 7

(3) p(2) = (2)^{4} - (2)^{3} + (2)^{2} + 6

⇒  p(2) =  16 - 8 + 4 + 6

⇒  p(2) =  8 + 4 + 6

⇒  p(2) =  18
