Answer:

Let the other side of triangle is x cm

Then in isosceles right angle triangle two congruent sides are 7 cm

x2=(7)2+(7)2

⇒x2=49+49

⇒x2=198

⇒x=7\sqrt{2}

Then perimeter of right angle isosceles triangle =7+7+7\sqrt{2}

=14+7\sqrt{2}

=7(2+\sqrt{2})

Given :

   An isosceles right angled triangle with each of it's congruent sides is 7cm

To find :

   Perimeter

Solution :

in right angled isoscale triangle

AB = BC = 7 cm

and angle ABC = 90°

from the phythagoran theorem

AB² + BC² = AC²

7² + 7² = AC²

AC² = 2 x 7²

AC = 7√2

so perimeter,

= AB + BC + AC

= 7 + 7 + 7√2

= 7(2 + √2)cm

Given :

  • An isosceles right angled triangle with each of it's congruent sides is 7cm

To find :

  • Perimeter

Solution :

in right angled isoscale triangle

AB = BC = 7 cm

and angle ABC = 90°

from the phythagoran theorem

AB² + BC² = AC²

7² + 7² = AC²

AC² = 2 x 7²

AC = 7√2

so perimeter,

= AB + BC + AC

= 7 + 7 + 7√2

= 7(2 + √2)cm
