find perimeter of rectangle whose length is 40cm and diagonal is 41 cm

here is your solution

Given:-

length of rectangle = 40cm
diagonal is 41 cm

Now

we know that

In rectangle all angle 90 degree

Now we use pythagoream thereom

h {}^{2} = p {}^{2} + b {}^{2} \\ 41 {}^{2} = p {}^{2} + 40 {}^{2} \\ p {}^{2} = 41 {}^{2} - 40 {}^{2} \\ p {}^{2} = 1681 - 1600 \\ p = \sqrt{81} \\ p = 9
Here p is breadth of rectangle =9cm

Perimeter or rectangle =2 (l+b)
= 2×(40+9)
=2×49
=98cm
