let the co-ordinates of the point be X(x,0)
using the dstance formula,
AX=[tex] \sqrt{((5-x) ^{2} +9 ) }=5 \\ 25=(5-x) ^{2} +9 \\( 5-x) ^{2} =16 \\ 5-x=4 \\ x=1[/tex]
So the coordinates are X(1,0)
