why is milk turning into stone

Actually milk is not turning to stone. Its is turning to casein. When we add vinegar to milk it separates curd from milk then forms as panner.

lindafarha: milk is basc because it has calcium and magnesium in it. while vinegar is acidic because it has acetic acid . so when you mix them two a neutralization reaction takes place ,hence the base and the acid combine together and leave water behind . the end result is the milk will no longer be a milk.it is the first process of making cheese!!
