Hence voltage at C is 30V

in the path CAD, Same current flows through the 5Ω and 1Ω. Hence potential drop across them will be proportional to their resistances.

i e 5:1 which means 25 V drops across 5Ω resistor and 5 V drops across 1Ω resistor.

Therefore potential difference of A and D is 5V
