find q and r of a=15,b=2.satisfying a=bq+r

ANSWER:

Given that,
a = 15
and, b = 2
A.T.Q.
a =bq+r
=> bq+r = a
=> q + r = a÷b
=> q+r =15 ÷ 2
=>q + r = 7.5
Now, from linear equation in two variable we can guess the probability of value q and r .
e.g ., Let q be 6.
Then q+r =7.5
=> 6+r =7.5
=>r = 7.5 - 6
=>r = 1.5
In this way we can find also the value of q .
