p= -2 and q = 3
let equation be ax^2 + bx + c
sum of roots = - b/a
- b/a = -2+3 = 1 {1
product of roots = c/a
c/a = -2(3) = -6 {2
a = 1 , b = -1 , c = -5 { from 1 and 2
Therefore equation is
x^2 - x - 5
