let, x1=x. x2=1. x3=7

y1=y. y2=2. y3=0

as we know,

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(y3-y2)/(x3-x2)

=> (2-y) /(1-x) =(0-2)/(7-1)

=> (2-y) /(1-x) =-2/6=-1/3

=> 3(2-y)=-1(1-x)

=> 6-3y=-1+x

=> x+3y=7
