As we know,that SI = P*R*T/100
therefore SI=625*5*3/100
=375/4
Therefore,Simple Interest=93.75

Compound Interest:

principal for the first year= 625
Interest for the 1st year= 625*5*1/100
31.25
amount after 1 year= 625+31 .25 = 656.25

principal for 2nd year =656.25
interest for 2nd year= 656.25*5*1/100 =32.81
amount after 2nd year= 656.25+32.81. =689.06

principal for 3rd year= 689.06
interest for 3rd year=689.06*5*1/100 =34.45
amount after 3rd year= 689.06+34.45 =723.51

Therefore, compound interest for 3 years =
Final amount-origonal amount
=723.51-625
=98.51

There fore,Simple Interest=93.75 and
Compound interest= 98.51
