Given diagonal of square = 16 cm
since , we know that
diagonal of square =√2 × side
according to the given statement :
-----------------------------------------------
√2 × side = 16
side = 16 /√2
side = (16 / √2 ) × (√2 / √2 )
side = 16√2 /2
side = 8√2 cm
therefore , side of square = 8√2 cm

since , we know that
diagonal of square =√2 × side
according to the given statement :
-----------------------------------------------
√2 × side = 16
side = 16 /√2
side = (16 / √2 ) × (√2 / √2 )
side = 16√2 /2
side = 8√2 cm
