Given:

The value of tan(a/2) is 1/√3.

To Find:

The value of Sina is?

Solution:

1. The value of tan(a/2) is 1/√3.

=> tan(a/2) = 1/√3,

=>  tan(a/2) = tan(30°), ( Since tan(30°) =  1/√3 )

=> a/2 = 30°,

=> a = 60°.

=> The value of a is 60 degrees.

2. The value of sin(a) will be,

=> sina = sin(60°) = (√3)/2.

Therefore, the value of sin(a) is (√3)/2.
