Answer:

there are 2methods to follow in finding rational numbers first method is by using mean method and second method is with denominator.

l used here 2nd method....

  • since we want 2 numbers, we write 3and 4 as rational numbers with denominator 2 + 1 = 3
  • i.e,3 = 3 /1 = 6/2 = 9/3 and
  • 4 = 4/1 = 8/2 = 12/3 = 16/4
  • Then you can see that 10/3, 11/3 are rational numbers between 3 and 4
  • 3 = 9 \div 3 < (10 \div 3 < 11 \div 3) < 12 \div 3 = 4
  • now we want to find out 6 rational numbers between 3 and 4,then we write 3 and 4 as rational number with denominator 6+1=7
  • i.e,3 =21/3 and 4 =28/4
  • 3 = 21/7 < (22/7, 23/7, 24/7, 25/7, 26/7, 28/7) < 28/7 =4
