a) -4  and  -3

let us multiply the number with any number say 10

=>  -4*10 & -3*10

= -40 & -30

= 6 rational numbers between -40 and -30 i.e. -4 and -3 =

                                                      -31 , -32 , -33, -34 , -35 , -36

b) -2/7 and -3/11

let us first take the LCM of the given numbers : 7*11

                                                                                 = 77

their fore -2/7 and -3/11 = -22/77 and -21/77

=> let us multiply it by 10

= -220/770 and -210/770

=6 rational numbers between -2/7 and -3/11 = -211/770 , -22/770 , -230/770 , 240/770 , 250/770 , 260/770
