in order to find the slope of tangent first we have to differentiate the function w.r.t. x
y'= 1(X+2) - (x-1)/(X+2)^2
y'= X+2-x+1/(X+2)^2
y'= 3/(x+2)^2
y' at X=2 is 3/16
