First think what is the nearest perfect square around 23 we get 25 , 25 is nearest perfect square around 23
Now let us see a new technique to find square root .
√23 = (25 - 2)½
25{(1 - 2/25) }½
=> 25½{1 - 2/25}½
=>We know that when when the term is in this form (1 + x) ^n where x is so less than 1 then it is written as (1 + nx) just follow this creteria
then it will be. 5 (1 -2/25*1/2)
=> 5 (1 -1/25)
=>( 1- 5/25 )
=> ( 5 - 1/5)
=> (5 - 0.20)
=> 4. 80 is the square root of √23 which is Approximations
