first group the digits in pairs in your case 46 65

now take a number whose square is less than or equal to 46
the number is 6
make it the divisor and the quotient

then subtract the square of 6 that is 36 from 46
you will get the remainder as 10

now bring down the next group that is 65
the number would be 1065

now for the new divisor multiply the quotient by 2. you will get 12
note the next step carefully.
to the right hand side of 12 you have to add a new digit. this new digit should also be made the quotient. let the number be x. the product of 12x and x should be less than or equal to 1065
in the given number x would be 8.
so u would now get the quotient as 68 and remainder  41 .
since you dont have any number to bring down put a decimal point in the quotient and bring down two zeroes
now repeat the previous steps multiply the quotient by 2
u will get 136 add a new number to it and so on
every time you have to bring two zeroed down until you get the remainder as zero

you will get your answer as 68.300 it is not terminating
