Now,

number \: of \: subgroups \\  \\  =  \frac{order \: of \: the \: group}{order \: of \: the \: subgroup}

Example :

Let, a group is of order 35 and order of a subgroup is 7.

Then, number of subgroups of order 7

 =  \frac{35}{7}   \\  \\  = 5

ex.that.

Order of group => 40
and order of subgroup => 8

then put the value in given formula

40/8=> 5
