Hi there !!

Here's your answer

Given,
to find 10 rational numbers between -3/4 and 5/6

For this, we will first find the LCM in order to equate the denominator so as to find the numbers ,

Since we've to find '10' rational numbers , we will take a considerably large number to be able to multiply effectively
LCM in this case = 6 × 4 = 24
Let's suppose that the number is
So,

 \frac{ - 3}{4}  \times  \frac{6}{6}  =  \frac{  - 18}{24}
and

 \frac{5}{6}  \times  \frac{4}{4} =  \frac{20}{24}

So, 10 rational numbers between -3/4 and 5/6 are

 \frac{ - 17}{24}   \:  \:  \:   \frac{ - 16}{24}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{ - 15}{24}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{ - 14}{24}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{ - 13}{24}

 \frac{ - 12}{24}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{ - 11}{24}  \:  \:  \frac{ - 10}{24}  \:  \:  \:   \frac{ - 9}{24}  \:  \:  \:   \frac{ - 8}{24}

NOTE : you can take any number other than 4 by keeping in mind that it equates the denominator of both the numbers for example 36, it's 4 × 9 and 6 × 6

Answer:

1)At first we should take LCM of the denominators of 4 and 6.

2)The LCM of 4 and 6 is "12".

3)Now we have to multiply -3/4 × 6/6. = -18/24.

4) Now we have to multiply 5/6× 4/4. = 20/24.

The ten rational numbers between -3/4 and 5/6 are

(-17/24 , -13/24 , -10/24 , -8/24 , -6/24 , -4/24 ,

3/24 , 6/24 , 11/24 , and lastly 19/24.)

Finally we have solved our problem
