Step-by-step explanation:

We need 10 rational numbers between -2/5 and 1/2, so we will multiple it by a number which is greater than 10 .

It can be be from 11 to infinity.

we will use 12 here

But first we will have to make the denominator same

Making the denominator same:

We have to make the denominator 10 ( As 10 is the LCM of 2 and 5)

-2/5 x 2/2 = -4/10

1/2 x 5/5 = 5/10

Now, we multiply it by 12:

-4/10 x 12/12 = -48/120

5/10 x 12/12 = 60/120

Choose any 10 among -48/120 & 60/120.

I chose :  -45/120, -35/120, -25/120, -15/120, -5/120, 5/120, 15/120, 25/120, 35/120, 45/120

Hope it helps u
