visualise it,you will observe that both the blocks will have equal magnitude of acceleration but in opposite directions, the heavier block will have ,acceleration vertically downward whereas lighter block will have same magnitude of acceleration vertically upward, or you can get this by constraint relation,Let the magnitude of acceleration of both blocks be 'a'
now apply Newton's laws of motion on both blocks, draw the FBD,let the tension in the string be 'T' you have to mention that string is light & inextensible,so that tension remains same throughout the string. Now, for the lighter block 'T' upward , 10g downward and acclⁿ 'a' upward ,giving
→ T–10g=10a
and for heavier one
→12g–T=12a
from here we get a=g/22 , and for Tension put the value of 'a' in any of the above two ,you'll get tension, hope it helped, mark brainliest!
