Compare given Quadratic
equation 4x²-2(c+1)x+(c+1)=0
with Ax²+Bx+C = 0, we get
A=4 , B = 2(c+1), C = c + 1 ,
Discreminant (D) = 0
[ Since , Roots are equal ]
B² - 4AC = 0
=> [2(c+1)]² - 4×4×(c+1)=0
=> 4(c+1)² - 16(c+1)=0
=> 4(c+1)[(c+1) - 4 ] = 0
=> 4(c+1)=0 or c+1-4 = 0
=> c = -1 or c = 3
