Here common difference = 10 - 8 = 2
First Term = 8
In A.P ,
Nth term = first term + (term Number - 1 )*Common Difference
here nth term = 10 ,
first term = 8
term number = 10
common difference = 2 ,
hence ,
10th term = 8 + (10 -1 )2
=8+9*2
= 8 + 18
= 26
hence 10th term in the mentioned series is 26 .
