d= -5 , n=10
an= a+(n-1)d
   an = 254+ (10-1)(-5)
  an= 254-45
an= 209

Already Aksachan6121 answered it reversing the A.P .As answering slot is empty, I would like to help in one more way.

Given A. P = 4,9,14.....254 .

First term = 4 .
Common difference = 5 .

Finding, 254 is which Term of the A. P from the beginning .

254 = 4+(n-1)5

250 =( n-1 )5

50 = n-1

n = 51 .

Hence, 254 is the 51 th term of the A. P.

From 254 or end of A. P the tenth term would be 42 term of A. P.

42 th term of A. P = 4 + 41(5)= 4+205 =209 .


The 10th term from the end of the AP 4 ,9, 14.........., 254 is 209 .
