a=9 d=-4 n=10 tn=?

tn=a+ (n-1)d

t10= 9+(10-1) ×(-4)

=9+(-36)

= -27

AP :- 9 , 5 , -1 , -3 , ........

a ( first term ) = 9

d ( common difference ) = 5 - 9

= -4

n ( no. of term ) = 10

a 10 ( 10 th term ) = ?

an = a + ( n - 1 ) d

a 10 = 9 + ( 10 - 1 ) ( -4 )

= 9 + 9 ( -4 )

= 9 - 36

= - 27

hence the 10 th term of the given AP is -27.
