an=a+(n-1)d
n=11        a=-3      d=5/2
hence 11th term =-3+(11-1)*5/2
                           =22
 hope this answer helped...comment if doubt persists..!!! :)

Answer:

The 11th term of the A.P is 22.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : The 11th term of the A.P -3,-\frac{1}{2},2,...

Solution :

The A.P -3,-\frac{1}{2},2,...

Where,

The first term is a=-3

The common term is d=-\frac{1}{2}-(-3)=-\frac{1}{2}+3=\frac{5}{2}

The nth term of the A.P. is a_n=a+(n-1)d

Here, n=11

Substitute the in the formula,

a_{11}=-3+(11-1)\frac{5}{2}

a_{11}=-3+(10)\frac{5}{2}

a_{11}=-3+25

a_{11}=22

Therefore, The 11th term of the A.P is 22.
