Answer :

The 12th term of A.P from the end is -78

Step-by-step Explanation :

Given : AP: -2,-4,-6, ..., -100.

To find : 12th term of A.P

Let 'a' be the first term, 'd' be the common difference and 'l' be the last term of AP.

Here, a = -2, d = (-4 + 2) = -2 , l = -100 and n = 12

We know that,

nth term from end = l - ( n - l ) × d

Substituting the given value in above formula we get,

12th term from end = -100 - (12 - 1)(-2)

= -100 + 22 = -78
