given

AP = 4 , 1 , -2 , -5 , -8

an = a + (n -1 )d

a = 4

d = 1 -4 = -3

n = 15

so, an = 4 +( 15 -1 ) * (-3)

an = 4 + 14* -3

an = 4 - 42

an = -38
