★Find the 20th term from the last term of the A.P. 3, 8, 13, …, 253

Solution:

In this Progression,

a(fist Term) = 3

d(common difference) =5

An(last term) = 253

To Find : 20th Term from last..

We can do so by reversing this A.P.

253,248,......,13,8,3

so, here

a= 253

d=-5

An=3

so, the 20th term in this A.P. will be

An = a + (n-1)d

20th term= 253+(20-1)(-5)

=253+(19)(-5)

=253-95

= 158

.

so, 158 is the correct answer✿
